Abstract

The following study discusses the topic of translation and interpretation with the objective of providing a wide perspective on (both) professions and the complexity of language transmissions . The fundamental concepts of translation and interpretation are also touched upon with the purpose of locating them between various language skills and translation . A short insight is provided into the history of translation as well as the types of translation and interpretation are examined including the difference between them, as well . Finally, information upon becoming a court interpreter/translator and their education in Serbia and Hungary is also discussed
