Title: | Frequency Deviation Measurement Based on Two-Arm Δ-Σ Modulated Bridge | Authors: | Zrilic D. Pjevalica, Nebojša |
Issue Date: | 1-Apr-2004 | Journal: | IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement | Abstract: | A method of frequency deviation measurement is presented. The use of a two-arm bridge is based on the use of delta-sigma (Δ-Σ) modulation and arithmetic operations on two synchronous Δ-Σ modulated pulse streams. The simulation results indicate a good linear relationship between frequency deviation and pulse count over the operating range. Stability of the clock and components mismatch of the Δ-Σ modulator are not critical for operation. Performance comparisons with existing solutions are given. | URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/10364 | ISSN: | 189456 | DOI: | 10.1109/TIM.2003.822709 |
