Title: | Determining optimal distribution of transmitters in heterogeneous wireless network by using genetic algorithm | Authors: | Vučićević M. Miljković, Aleksandar Samardžija, Dragan Kukolj, Dragan |
Issue Date: | 1-Dec-2011 | Journal: | 12th IEEE International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Informatics, CINTI 2011 - Proceedings | Abstract: | This paper presents a simulation of positioning various types of transmitters in an optimal way, regarding the positions of receivers and their demands. The simulation runs in regards to the input parameters, which represent a landscape map, positions and demanded bandwidths of receivers, positions and dimensions of forbidden zones and barriers, as well as the areas that must be covered with a signal. Possible types of transmitters are also given as the input of the simulation, while the estimated positions of transmitters and their preferred type are given on the output. © 2011 IEEE. | URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/10079 | ISBN: | 9781457700453 | DOI: | 10.1109/CINTI.2011.6108552 |
