This paper presents a simulation of positioning various types of transmitters in an optimal way, regarding the positions of receivers and their demands. The simulation runs in regards to the input parameters, which represent a landscape map, positions and demanded bandwidths of receivers, positions and dimensions of forbidden zones and barriers, as well as the areas that must be covered with a signal. Possible types of transmitters are also given as the input of the simulation, while the estimated positions of transmitters and their preferred type are given on the output. © 2011 IEEE.en
