Title: | New challenges and doubts arising at 3D modelling of reinforced concrete structures | Authors: | Bódi I. Brujić, Zoran Klopka Z. |
Issue Date: | 1-Dec-2000 | Journal: | European Congress on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences and Engineering, ECCOMAS 2000 | Abstract: | The new generation of an engineer-oriented software enables the designer to perform 'real' 3D calculation and to analyse the overall spatial behaviour of structures subjected to arbitrary loading. The majority of the codes of practice is not keeping up with this progress, which results a void in some fields of structural analysis. The calculation of the spatial structure propels hidden reserves of the structure, but again in case of a not properly modelled structure the calculation may be on the unsafe side. The wider introduction of the new analysis tools brings to arise new problems which are not treated appropriately, so in the near future they should be addressed, answered and regulated in the codes. | URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/8418 | ISBN: | 8489925704 |
