Title: | TV test signal generator and grabber | Authors: | Borisev B. Pekovic V. Samardžija, Dragan Leporis M. |
Issue Date: | 1-Dec-2013 | Journal: | 2013 21st Telecommunications Forum Telfor, TELFOR 2013 - Proceedings of Papers | Abstract: | This paper illustrates a device used for set-top box testings. The primary idea was to create a system which can be used for field work. It would be a part of a bigger system which could test both, input and output functions of end users devices. Its modularity and low-power consumption are one of key benefits of this device. Further improvements on power consumption can lead to developing a system which is powered via a USB connection. The system applies FPGA to implement constant streaming. A USB microcontroller is used as an interface toward a personal computer on which a grabbed digital data is stored, or used as a video generator transmitting video samples and video test patterns. © 2013 IEEE. | URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/8073 | ISBN: | 9781479914197 | DOI: | 10.1109/TELFOR.2013.6716279 |
