Abstract: © SGEM2015. This paper presents the results of the spatial analysis of the construction developments in the area affected by the exploitation of Tuzla salt deposits. The data on subsidence of terrain as determined by the geodetic methods, as well as the data on the facility positions from two time periods are used as the input data. As a result of the spatial analysis of the aforementioned set of geospatial data, with the help of the GIS tools, a new set of data on the changes of the construction developments since 1965 in the area of subsidence has been obtained. New information, obtained by the multicriterial analysis of the geospatial data and which can serve as the basis for making key strategic decisions in spatial planning and sustainable development, are in this paper presented through thematic maps and visual representations. The analysis of the spatial data shows the areas with the most visible disappearance and the emergence of new buildings, in other words, the areas which have the largest of the site usurpation with respect to the selected criteria for spatial organization planning and orientation while deciding on the land use.
