Still, dScada is primarily an educational and research environment for all students or engineers entering the world of data acquisition and industrial control. Main motivation for dScada development is need for a SCADA system suitable for educational purposes, simple yet usable and complete. Its design is based on a set of industrial SCADA standards, long term experience in this area, and analysis of several well-known commercial solutions.
