dc.description.abstract© 2017 IEEE. In this paper, we present an analysis of the hybrid satellite-Terrestrial free-space optical (FSO) cooperative system. The analysis is performed under consideration of the decode-And-forward (DF) relaying protocol, where the FSO channel is assumed for relay-destination link. The land mobile satellite (LMS) link is described by two-state Lutz's model. The Gamma-Gamma distribution is used to model the intensity fluctuations of the optical signal caused by atmospheric turbulence. The outage probability expression is derived. Numerical results are presented. The effect of LMS link conditions, such as time-share of shadowing, as well as FSO link conditions, on the outage probability performance is investigated.en
