Title: | PWM rectifier voltage and current harmonics and harmonic limitation standards and recommendations | Authors: | Katić, Vladimir | Issue Date: | 1-Jan-1990 | Journal: | 1st International Conference on Applications of Industrial Electronics Systems, AIES 1990 - Proceedings | Abstract: | © 1990 IEEE. The solution to power electronic converters network harmonic "pollution" is application of corrective measures, such as installation of filter. Filter component sizes can be reduced if PWM technique is applied. A new criterion for filter reactive component minimization, the individual harmonic distortion limits stipulated by modern standards and recommendations, is introduced and used. The harmonic injection sinusoidal PWM techniques, optimal for DC motor load, were tested as a function of modulation index and number of pulses per half-cycle. A choice of PWM technique which demand minimal filter component values and satisfies harmonic regulation is proposed. | URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/16002 | DOI: | 10.1109/AIES.1990.666331 |
