Abstract: NiFe 2O 4 and ZnFe 2O 4 ferrites have been prepared by soft mechanochemical synthesis. The sintered samples were analyzed by XRD and Raman spectroscopy. Investigation of the magnetization as a function of magnetic field confirms an expected change of the degree of inversion in the spinel structure with the sintering. Impedance spectroscopy on the sintered pellets of ferrites was performed in the wide frequency range (100 Hz-10 MHz) at different temperatures using an Impedance/Gain-Phase Analyzer (HP-4194). © 2012 IEEE.
