Abstract: In this paper binary tomography on the triangular grid is addressed. We use three and six natural projections according to the structure of the grid. We propose an energy-minimization method based on the simulated annealing algorithm to reconstruct the original images. Our method is shown in four regular hexagon shaped test images of approximately 4000 pixels. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.
