Title: The influence of endogenous AC fields on the breather dynamics in DNA

Abstract: In this paper we investigate the nonlinear dynamics and thermodynamics of a DNA chain affected by endogenous AC fields generated by the living cell itself. The dynamics of the DNA chain is described by the extended model for the coherent dynamics of breather-like excitations. Since this model can have large-amplitude broad oscillations we considered the impact of AC fields on the fluctuational openings of DNA by using Kubo's formalism for linear response of the system. © 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
