Title: | Comparison of different algorithms for distribution network analysis | Authors: | Popovic D. Ciric R. Švenda, Goran Gorecan Z. |
Issue Date: | 1-Jan-1997 | Journal: | Proceedings of the Universities Power Engineering Conference | Abstract: | This paper gives comparative analysis of different algorithms for distribution network analysis through corresponding numerical performances. Four basic algorithms are studied: Gauss-Seidel's, Newton's, linear algorithm and Shirmohammadi's algorithm. Then, the basic Shirmohammadi's algorithm is extended in order to include automatic voltage regulation of transformers 110/x kV/kV and customers behaviour due to voltage changes. All concerned algorithm are tested on the urban real-life medium voltage distribution network. These results have shown high superiority of the specialized algorithms regarding the computation speed and accuracy. | URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/13361 |
