Title: | Two-stage PV Converter Power Production Management during Grid Disturbances | Authors: | Isakov, Ivana Todorovic I. |
Issue Date: | 1-Sep-2019 | Journal: | SEST 2019 - 2nd International Conference on Smart Energy Systems and Technologies | Abstract: | © 2019 IEEE. The increase in the installed power of the photovoltaic (PV) power plants and the degrading grid working conditions during which the plant has to operate have induced the development of agile power production management techniques. In this paper, new control algorithms that enable PV plant operation during nominal and faulty grid states are proposed. As the two-stage PV plant power production is considered, both boost converter and grid-side inverter control are addressed, taking into account different hardware configurations. Proposed centralized and decentralized paradigms have been thoroughly analyzed and tested using hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setup. Obtained results validate proficiency of the proposed solutions. | URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/12065 | ISBN: | 9781728111568 | DOI: | 10.1109/SEST.2019.8849079 |
