Level and temperature controls are observed. Identified models were used for tuning of PID controller. In the presence of disturbance, PID control results with overshoot and long recovery time. In order to reduce the computational efforts, Sugeno type fuzzy controller was used as fuzzy compensator. The rule base and the membership functions in fuzzy compensator were simultaneously optimized by genetic algorithm.
