Journal: 2011 19th Telecommunications Forum, TELFOR 2011 - Proceedings of Papers
Abstract: This paper discusses some of currently the most challenging problems of SCADA system design, and presents a possible architecture of a general purpose SCADA intended for high-end applications. The paper gives proposal of a new architecture, which relies on basic principles from the old implementation, adapted and perfected to fulfill the needs of the modern market. Some of the basic requirements for implemented SCADA system includes scalability, distributed and reliable networked operation, high capacity/performance in real time, and support to future extensibility of the solution and implemented data model. © 2011 IEEE.
