Data Base Web applications for distance learning

Abstract

This paper presents two web applications that are used in a distance-learning environment. One of the elearning materials for the Algorithms and Data Structures (ASP) developed at the postgraduated study is described in detail. This application offers theoretical curricula in hypertext format, self-testing system and option to communicate with other users via forum. Also, in this paper is described e-Learning system assigned to distance learning SQL, as the part of course DBMS. It is possible for students to test their queries within three different problems.They also have the opportunity to create their own queries and check the result of their query. © 2006 by MIPRO.
