The quality assessment of the educational web applications

Abstract

The objective of the described research in this paper is to evaluate defined students' assignments and determine the impact of implemented introduction of the heuristic for developing web applications that have satisfying quality. Quality of the web sites was measured by the assessment instrument that was based upon established methodology for evaluation of the web sites. The aspects included in the methodology were Efficiency, Navigability, Content suitability, Accessibility, Representation and Standard conformance. The assessment instrument incorporated those aspects through numerous criteria in the form of relevant characteristics. © 2008 by MIPRO.
