Abstract: The pseudospin–phonon formalism is used to describe the influence of lattice vibrations on the occurrence of a parametric resonance in the hydrogen‐bonded ferroelectrics. The theoretical results obtained show that such a resonance is considerably stabilized by the strong coupling between protons and heavy ions. Copyright © 1977 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA
