Title: | Amino acid composition of gilt's diets on farms in Vojvodina | Authors: | Jajić, Igor Beuković, Dejan Ivkov, Milan Krstović, Saša Beuković, Miloš Glamočić, Dragan |
Issue Date: | 1-Jan-2012 | Journal: | CEFood 2012 - Proceedings of 6th Central European Congress on Food | Abstract: | This paper presents the analysis of amino acid composition of the diet for gilts from 9 farms in Vojvodina, with a goal to determine protein and amino acid content in mixtures for gilts. The aim of this study was presentation of the situation on the ground in terms of quality amino acid composition of gilt's diets. The work aroused unreasonably high protein content, as well as the essential and non-essential amino acids content in diets, which are economically unjustifiable and high above the recommendations for gilts. Protein content was ranged from 21.36% to 10.61%. Essential and nonessential amino acids were highly correlated with the level of protein, as expected. The highest correlation with the protein level was observed for arginine r = 0.92, and lowest in case of alanine r = 0.68, while for lysine was r = 0.75. | URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/5646 |
