Projektovanje informacionih sistema za distribuirano otvoreno računarsko okruženje

Abstract

<p>Doktorska disertacija pripada oblasti projektovanja informacionih sistema. Dat je sistematizovan pristup za razvoj objektno orijentisane specifikacije i implementacije inteligentnih softverskih agenata za rad sa strukturiranim dokumentima u distribuiranom otvorenom računarskom okruženju. Predloženo re&scaron;enje značajno unapređuje razvoj i implementaciju Internet, odnosno Intranet aplikacija. Prisustvo elemenata inteligencije u informacionim sistemima značajno povećava mogućnost njihove primene u odlučivanju i upravljanju sistemima.<br />Glavni doprinos disertacije je predlog specifikacije i implementacije sistema inteligentih softverskih agenata za indeksiranje i pretraživanje strukturiranih dokumenata. Specifikacija sistema data je u objekto orijentisanoj metodologiji.&nbsp; Ilustracija implementacije prikazana je u objekto orijentisanom programskom jeziku Java. Za opis strukturiranih dokumenata kori&scaron;ćeni su SGML i XML, a kao interfejs za manipulaciju sa HTML I XML dokumentima kori&scaron;ćen je Objektni model dokumeta (Document Object Model). Razmena objekata u distribuiranom računarskom okruženju podržana je CORBA/IIOP protokolom. Predloženo re&scaron;enje može se realizovati kako u postojećim resursima informacionih tehnologija, tako i u nadolazećim čisto objektno orijentisanim tehnologijama.<br />Za ilustraciju mogućnosti primene distribuiranih objekata u razvoju savremenih računarskoh sistema dat je primer objektno orijentisane specifikacije i implementacije virtualne turističke agencije.</p>

<p>This doctoral thesis belongs in the domain o f information systems design. A systematic approach is provided for the object-oriented specification development and implementation o f intelligent software agents for interchanging structured documents over open, distributed environments. The proposed solution significantly enhances the development and implementation o f Internet and Intranet applications.<br />The main achievement of this thesis is the specification development and implementation methodology for using intelligent software agents to retrieve and index structured documents. System specification is developed using object-oriented methodology. Implementation is illustrated by the use of the Java programming language. The structured documents use SGML and XML standards. The Document Object Model is used to provide the interface for document &#39;manipulation.&rsquo; Document interchange is supported by the CORBA/IIOP protocol. The proposed solution could be implemented using existing technologies, and - newly emerged - pure, object-oriented technologies. To illustrate the use o f distributed objects in the development of&nbsp; modem systems, the object oriented specification development and implementation for a virtual tourist agency system is provided as an example.</p>
