Sažetak: |
The basic problem of this dissertation deals with is resorption of the residual alveolar ridge of edentulous patients in regard to the following: kind of dentures (immediate and classical), pressure force under basis of complete dentures, degree of osteoporotic changes on the lower jaw, quantity of denture plaque and immflamatory processes of the masticatory mucose, sex, initial development of alveolar ridge and kind of dentures (upper/lower). Preliminary researches have confirmed that orthopantomography is justified as a method in level measuring of the reduction of the residual alveolar ridge. Gathered results reveal that in the beginning the pressure under denture basis in higher in immediate dentures, whereas after complete adptation of patients pressures are equal in both groups. It has been concluded that during a 6 months observation period the degree of resorption of the residual alveolar ridge is higher in the group of patients with immediate dentures in regard to the group with classical dentures. Sex and other examined parameters have no significant inpact on degree of alveolar ridge resorption.
| URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/27329 | Prаvа: |
