Abstract: The essential oils of Salvia b rachyodon (samples A and B), collected from Montenegro, were analysed by GC – MS. Fifty-four constituents were identified. The oil was characterized by a high content of oxygenated monoterpenes. The major constituents were 1,8-cineole (23.0 – 17.2%), bornyl acetate (9.8 – 10.5%) and B-pinene (8.8 – 9.4%).
