Abstract: Based on previous e-Learning experiences at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, Faculty of Science in Novi Sad, a new effort has been made to improve present e-Courses by adding more challenging, flexible e-Lessons. In order to do so, we decided to introduce adaptability to e-Lessons. In the paper we first advocate why adaptability is useful in e-Lessons and give an example. To implement it, we used and extended Moodle, a well proven open source course management system. As a result of our efforts, e-Lessons now have useful ability to reference parts of other e-Lessons within the course from any point of the current e-Lesson, as well as extended jumps from one learning object to the other depending on student’s current and previous activity. e-Courses are now sets of interconnected topics that are able to exchange information between them and students' learning paths in a more flexible way.
