Title: | Video processing for virtual cockpit over 5G networks | Authors: | Molnar M. Becirbasic D. Lukač, Željko Samardžija, Dragan |
Issue Date: | 14-Dec-2017 | Journal: | IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics - Berlin, ICCE-Berlin | Abstract: | © 2017 IEEE. Autonomous driving is the next breakthrough in automotive industry. Although the current achievements are very promising we still envision applications in which a certain level of assistance from the remote operator would be required. The goal of the project is to realize a semi-Autonomous driving platform prototype with low-latency control/command channel to the operator over the 5G wireless network. The main operational mode of the vehicle is autonomous and in a certain situation the vehicle will transfer control to the remote operator. In order to control the vehicle in the real time, the remote operator should have a live video stream from the vehicle with limited bandwidth and ultra-reliable low-latency communication link in both directions. | URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/2309 | ISBN: | 9781509040148 | ISSN: | 21666814 | DOI: | 10.1109/ICCE-Berlin.2017.8210620 |
