Abstract: In most parts of Europe climate change will be one of the main driving forces determining forest and agricultural plant yields, performance and stability. Low water availability is one of the main environmental factors infl uencing plant growth and yield in many regions of the world. Impact of periodic drought in beech populations of Fruška gora National Park can signifi cantly disturb stable forest bioproductivity.
