Abstract: The essential oils of Salvia brachyodon (samples A and B), collected from Montenegro, were analysed by GC-MS. Fifty-four constituents were identified. The oil was characterized by a high content of oxygenated monoterpenes. The major constituents were 1,8-cineole (23.0-17.2%), bornyl acetate (9.8-10.5%) and β-pinene (8.8-9.4%).
