dc.description.abstractThis paper presents the development of the Ttype LC chip filters models. Initially, two different types of LC filters, produced by multilayer green sheet technology, were characterized in the frequency range from 0 to 3 GHz, then the adopted equivalent LC chip electrical circuit model was fitted to the experimental data using the optimization feature of the schematic interface in Microwave Office (MWO), an integrated RF/Microwave design tool. The fitted values bettered the internal geometric parameters of the LC filter structure, which was finally simulated by a method-of-moments based electromagnetic simulator built-in into MWO. Obtained simulation results were compared with experimental results and validity of the applied approach was verified.en
