Abstract: The so far unknown 0-7 band of the Herzberg system (C1Σ+-A1Π) in the13C16O molecule has been registered by means of the photographic method. The rotational analysis made it possible to determine the Bv and Dv rotational constants for both combined states as well as the vo band origin. The observed and calculated isotope shift of the 0-7 band origins for the13C16O and12C16O molecules as well as the observed and predicted perturbations of the v=0-7 levels of the A1Π state in13C16O have been confronted. A new evaluation of relative band intensities for all so far known Herzberg bands has also been proposed. © 1990 Akadémiai Kiadó.
