Title: | Effect of insulation construction bending on stator winding failure | Authors: | Vereb, Laslo Osmokrović P. Vujisić M. Lazarević Z. Kartalović N. |
Issue Date: | 1-Oct-2007 | Journal: | IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation | Abstract: | This paper investigates electrical breakdown of interconduetor insulation, which presents an obstacle to the increase of the rated voltage of electrical machines as a means to improve efficiency of electrical energy exploitation. We have investigated a large number of samples searching for weak points in interconduetor insulation along the coil of a high voltage asynchronous machine. The experiments were performed on lacquer-glass-glass-lacquer conductor insulation. Location of weak points and breakdown voltage levels have been determined. © 2007 IEEE. | URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/14632 | ISSN: | 10709878 | DOI: | 10.1109/TDEI.2007.4339493 |
