Abstract: Infinite dilution activity coefficients of pentane, hexane, heptane, cyclohexane, benzene, tetrachloromethane, dichloromethane, diethyl ether, tetrahydrofuran, acetone, ethyl acetate and methanol in N,N-diethyldodecanamide have been measured using gas-liquid chromatography. The measurements have been performed at 25, 35, 45 and 55°C. The solute partial molar excess enthalpies and entropies at infinite dilution have been calculated from the temperature dependence of the activity coefficients. Experimental values of activity coefficients at infinite dilution were compared with predictions based on the UNIFAC model. © 1994 American Chemical Society.
