Issue Date: | 1-Jan-1997 | Journal: | Proceedings of the Universities Power Engineering Conference | Abstract: | The paper presents four ways of modelling and simulation of induction machines implemented utilizing Matlab and Simulink programming environment. The models are intended to be used by students, for computer demonstrations and exercises within the syllabus of subjects dealing with electric machines and drives. Comparison of the modelling approaches is done with respect to the time needed for developing and inputting the model and running the simulation.
