dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the present paper is to establish a variational principle of Hamilton's type, for purely nonconservative mechanics according to Central Lagrangian Equation. The velocity of variation and the variation of velocity are not commutative as in conservative mechanics. The applications on the nonlinear heat transfer in solids are discussed in detail.
