dc.description.abstract | The development and prototype testing of a platform for micropositioning having three legs made of piezo-tubes was described. The piezo-tube characteristics were investigated in various motion modes to ensure the desired platform performances. The platform capability using different motion velocities to accomplish controlled complex motion was also demonstrated. The experiment showed a positioning accuracy below 0.2 μm for a platform with a simple design. | en |
