This paper deals with a problem of the post-operative results of the human knee anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction verification. It is emphasized that mentioned verification depends, mostly, on the angle and position of the screw which is built-in in the human femur. For this purpose the methodology and appropriate software system for generation of the approximate 3D model for the femur and screw, built in it, are developed. A hypothesis that femur's 3D model approximation could be done by the "method of ellipses", was assumed. This hypothesis is based on the human knee X-ray images and the special view of the Blumensaat's-line. Software solution is developed for AutoCAD system, by application of the C++ development library ObjectARX (AutoCAD Runtime eXtensions).en
