dc.description.abstractThis paper gives the criteria for choice of short marker sequences, using the survival probability and acquisition times as parameters for optimization. It shows that cross-bifix spectrum weights (integer values) can substitute Jones' minimal total of simulation probabilities criteria (real number values). An Illustrative example shows a criteria for finding the optimal set of sequences for parallel transmission. © 2005 IEEE.en
