dc.description.abstract | This paper describes simulation model improvements of Varistor+Inductor (VarInd) integrated passive devices (IPD). The original VarInd devices comprise of a cofired varistor and an inductor developed in a ceramic coprocessing technology. These IPDs are intended for use in low-transient and high-frequency electromagnetic interference (EMI) circuit protection. New circuit model is presented with the corresponding simulation results, which better match the experimental results of original devices, making it more useful in predicting the behavior of similar IPD devices. ©2005 IEEE. | en |
