Abstract: The contents of organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) were determined in wheat grain, bran, and sunflower oil, obtained from Vojvodina Province (Serbia). Samples were prepared by the official method proposed for isolation of OCPs. Qualitative and quantitative analyses were done by GC/ECD. The total concentration of OCP residues ranged from <0.01 to 4.93 ng/g for wheat and bran, and 0.71 to 0.95 ng/g for edible oils. Contents of determined OCPs in the investigated samples were compared with the regulated maximum levels according to Serbian legislation, and with that from literature. © by PSP 2007.
