Title: | Comment on applicability of Hamiltons equations in the quantum soliton problem | Authors: | Skrinjar M. Kapor D. Stojanović S. |
Issue Date: | 1-Jan-1988 | Journal: | Physical Review A | Abstract: | We have shown by consistent application of the Schrödinger and Heisenberg equations that the differential invariance condition imposed by Brown, Lindenberg, and West [Phys. Rev. A 33, 4104 (1986)] on Hamiltons function, which was obtained by averaging Fröhlichs Hamiltonian over Davydov soliton states, is not a correct one. The conclusion that Davydov made an erroneous application of Hamiltons equations is still valid, based on completely different arguments. © 1988 The American Physical Society. | URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/12183 | ISSN: | 10502947 | DOI: | 10.1103/PhysRevA.37.639 |
