Title: | Analysis of the A2Πi-X2Σ+ (comet-tail) system of the 14C16O+ molecule | Authors: | Jakubek Z. Kȩpa R. Janjić J. |
Issue Date: | 1-Jan-1987 | Journal: | Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy | Abstract: | Five bands (1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-0, and 4-0) of the A2Πi-X2Σ+ system of the 14C16O+ molecule have been photographed and analyzed for the first time. The 50 single-valued molecular constants of the A2Πi, v ≤ 4, X2Σ+, v = 0, 1, and B2Σ+, v = 0, 1 states reproducing the experimental wavenumbers within the accuracy of measurement have been obtained by using a multistep merging process. Finally, the rotational constants Be = 1.459378(41) and αe = 0.017092(16) and the vibrational constants ωe = 1497.013(13), ωexe = 12.509(7), and ωeye = 0.019(1) of the A2Πi state have been calculated. Perturbations in the 2-0 and 2-1 bands relevant to the interaction between the A2Πi, v = 2 and X2Σ+, v = 12 states have been detected. © 1987. | URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/11978 | ISSN: | 00222852 | DOI: | 10.1016/0022-2852(87)90191-3 |
