dc.description.abstract | A characterization of ferrite transformers based on S-parameters measurement using vector network analyzer and specially developed PCB test fixture is presented. Ferrite transformers are realized with commercially available ferrite component. In addition, in order to verify the measurement procedure, we have tested the same component using impedance analyzer, and compared the results with VNA measurement procedure. It is shown that proposed approach is efficient in predicting and analyzing the transformer performance, even in high frequency range. © 2010 IEEE. | en |
