Title: | Point source atmospheric diffusion | Authors: | Rajković B. Arsenić I. Grsić Z. |
Issue Date: | 1-Jan-2008 | Journal: | Fluid Mechanics of Environmental Interfaces | Abstract: | © 2008 Taylor & Francis Group, London, UK. All rights reserved. This chapter covers some theoretical aspects and several areas of modelling of atmospheric dispersion of a passive substance. After the introduction there is a section with fundamentals about molecular diffusion. It has a derivation of Fick’s law including sinks and sources of a passive substance. Some simple cases of source and sinks are presented and their physical meaning discussed. In the end, we examine the point source substance diffusion in the case of a constant wind. | URI: | https://open.uns.ac.rs/handle/123456789/10297 | ISBN: | 9781134064236 | DOI: | 10.4324/9780203895351-8 |
