Abstract: In the paper [1] a two compartmental fractional pharmacokinetic model of high dose methotrexate (MTX) in children with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) was proposed. Its main advantage was the prediction of nonmonotonic behaviour of the mass amount of MTX in the central compartment comprising plasma and plasma like tissues as a function of time. Namely, among all patients under consideration treated by the same MTX administration protocol of intravenous infusion (IVI), given in the first 24 hours of the treatment, four cases exibited this kind of behaviour. The case denoted by C1 therin differs from the other ones.
