This paper presents the current approach of maintenance based on predictive maintenance. This approach is based on permanent monitoring of the plant in the on-line or off-line mode and simultaneous diagnostics, and this approach allows the competent authorities to have full access to the complete state of the plant at all times and to focus their attention on the parts and elements of which are critical and to cancel. It also presented an object of research, bucket wheel excavator, and the purpose of implementing a measurement system for monitoring on the mentioned excavator through of the possibility of a gradual transition to the maintenance of the state, which is in interactive connection with the user and needs to show that all the benefits of this type of maintenance that can have the utmost user. In this paper, It also described a modern methods of technical diagnostics through the monitoring system introduced for monitoring the bucket wheel excavator which is an example of the formation, and implementation the results of the system for permanent monitoring of selected parameters within it.en
