dc.description.abstract© Springer International Publishing AG 2017. In this paper we propose a framework based on BDI software agents for the modeling and simulation of dynamic systems. The target system is broken down into a number of interacting components. Each component is then mapped to a BDI agent that captures its behavioral aspects. The system model is described as a multi-agent program that is specified using the Jason agent-oriented programming language.en
