The philosophy of John Locke is discussed in this paper from the perspective of his understanding of ideas and sensation, in order to reconstruct Locke's method of thinking. Locke's method, new way of ideas, is here understood as essentially determined by his empiricist position, and as constitutive of the entire project of his philosophy. The central analysis in this paper is focused on the consideration of connection of perception, ideas, and the philosophical way of thinking which is defined by them.en
