dc.description.abstract | Discussion on the exploitation of the nickel ore in Serbia has connected two different communities, academic and civic initiatives, to express their opinions on this important issue and initiate taking a stance in terms of relevant factors which are concerned with the policy in the field of environmental protection and ecological safety. At the level of creating such policies there were apparent different approaches and interests which ultimately had a significant impact on environment and human health. In this work, the authors are likely to show not only that nickel is very much present in the human environment but also that its exploitation leads to the pollution of our environment and our health, whether by the ore or its derivates, at any production level, use and recession. | en |
