dc.description.abstractThe volumetric properties (apparent molar volumes and partial molar volumes) of ammonium nitrate in N-methylformamide (NMF) have been evaluated from the density data and discussed in the term of respective ionic and dipole interactions. The densities of the NMF + ammonium nitrate mixtures were measured at T = 308.15 to 348.15 K for different ammonium nitrate molalities in the range from 0 to 8.4624 mol · kg- 1. The apparent molar expansibility and the coefficients of thermal expansion were also calculated. The results were compared with those obtained for DMF + ammonium nitrate mixtures. © 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.-
