dc.description.abstract© 2012 RAD Conference Proceedings. All rights reserved. The number of sources of Non-Ionizing radiation, especially cellular phone network stations, are steadily increasing. Due to the fact that the impact of electromagnetic fields (EMF) on human health is not yet fully understood, the public concern on the increasing EMF levels in cities is present. In this work, the results of the first systematic survey of EMF levels in Vojvodina are presented. During the year 2011, in more than 10 major cities low-frequency and high-frequency EMF are performed environmental "spot" broadband and frequency-selective measurements. In each city one radio emission antenna, one cellular phone network station, one high voltage power transmission line and transformer station was measured at about 10 locations. In the lowfrequency region (to 100 kHz) the electric field strength and magnetic induction have been measured while in the highfrequency region (100 kHz to 300 GHz) the electric field strength was measured. Analyzing the collected data, it is shown that even in the worst case scenario the total impact of the EMF levels is not bigger than 60 % of the authorized limiting values.en
